The town in search of a new Hermit
Are you looking for a new job? Well, a vacancy has just arisen in Austria, where officials in the town of Saalfelden are looking for someone to live as a hermit in a remote chapel hacked out of a cliff in the mountains. It will be austere - no heating or running water, but you will only have to stay there between April and November. Peter Arp is an Austrian journalist who knows the hermitage well. Roger Hearing asked him why they needed a new hermit.
