Callum Skinner: Why I kept quiet about my gay dad
Rio 2016 gold medal winning track cyclist Callum Skinner says he "shouldn't have kept quiet for so long" about his Dad's sexuality.
The 24-year-old claims he only realised he'd been hiding it when his Dad asked before the Olympic Games in Rio whether he wanted it to remain a secret.
He says since he revealed to the Gay Times back in September that both his father and brother were gay he's "happy to report that he didn't have a single negative response, it's almost been in essence as if I announced that my mum is straight."
