Before the election, Donald Trump deeply offended the parents of Humayan Khan - a US soldier killed in Iraq.

Mr Trump suggested his mother, Ghazala Khan, may not have been allowed to speak as her husband gave a speech at the Democratic National Convention, because she is a Muslim. His comments caused widespread outrage.
