A man has died after a boiler back-fired in the engine room of a ship.

The Manhattan Bridge was berthing at the Port of Felixstowe late on Thursday evening.

Another male member of the crew was taken to hospital with "non-critical" injuries.

Police and the Marine Accident Investigation Branch are carrying out an investigation.
