The British film Watani: My 蜜芽传媒land has been nominated in the best documentary short category at the Oscars.

It tells the story of one family's escape from war-torn Syria, and their attempt to make a new life in Germany.

The executive producer was Chris Shaw who is married to World at One presenter Martha Kearney. She told Eddie Mair about the film.
