Brexit issue continues to divide
MPs have voted to allow the PM to begin the Brexit process
MPs have voted overwhelmingly to allow Prime Minister Theresa May to get Brexit negotiations under way.
Not so very long ago some hoped or feared that MPs who backed Remain would continue to fight.
But on Wednesday night just one Conservative and 47 Labour MPs defied their leadership's instructions and voted to block Brexit.
Ross Hawkins reports from Cambridgeshire on a divided country, and we hear from Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell.
