When parents can't keep up
A new study in the UK says that 85 per cent of a group of 4,500 adults were unable to understand the meaning of codes and emojis used by their children on social media. So is this actually a form of communication that's developing like a language? Rob Drummond is a linguist at Manchester Metropolitan University.
