Nigel Pearson - Foxes will escape relegation
Former Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has backed his old club to stay in the Premier League. Pearson believed the owners will keep faith with Claudio Ranieri and it’s up to the players to show some of the qualities they displayed last year when they won the title. Pearson also indicated that he’ll only return to management when he is sufficiently ‘excited’ by any future role. After a negative experience at Derby County, he revealed this had somewhat tainted his perception of his own working methods and wants to ensure it’s the right opportunity before making a return to the dugout.
