Meet the winner of NASA’s Space Poop Challenge
NASA may now have the answer to astronauts’ toilet troubles, as currently, they have to wear adult nappies if they want to go to the toilet in space. This is certainly not the ideal solution as it means they may have to stay in their spacesuit for days. But now Dr Thatcher Cardon has won NASA’s Space Poop Challenge with a design involving a tiny crotch airlock.
