Gail Emms believes using vanity as a source of motivation for exercise is acceptable.
When discussing the range of factors that impact female activity levels, the former Olympic badminton medallist said "I exercise because I care what my body looks like".
Emms says it “doesn't matter” what drives women to be active, as long as it is their choice.
