Women with dark skin 'held hostage' by make-up brands
A blogger has convinced make-up giant Maybelline to expand its range for women with dark skin after writing a blog post about how the company was ignoring women of colour.
Nadia told 5 live: “There is so little choice. If you are someone like me who is dark skinned you are basically held hostage, you have to buy from expensive brands.â€
Maybelline recently announced that it is increasing the number of shades across three of its main franchises of foundation.
