There are not many people who can say they have spent four hours dining in the company of the world's most secretive leader.

In 2013, journalist Ryan Duffy travelled with NBA star Dennis Rodman and the Harlem Globetrotters to take part in a basketball exhibition match against the North Korean National Team. Later, they were invited to dine at the table of the new Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un.

Duffy told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 5 live: "He did strike me as remarkably young, even in the handshake we had."

He added that his "nerves were on high-alert at all times" but Kim Jong-un seemed relaxed around his visitors:

"I don't know if I would say his guard was down but he was definitely enjoying himself. There was entertainment and a multi-course meal which was a weird dichotomy as you're sitting there in a country gripped by famine."
