Copeland: What does it mean for Labour?

Labour have lost the by-election in their once safe-seat of Copeland

The Conservatives have won the by-election in Copeland, meaning that for the first time in over 30 years Labour have lost a by-election whilst the Tories were in government.

Today’s Zoe Conway reports from Copeland. John McDonnell, the shadow chancellor, says the result is "really disappointing" and John Pienaar, the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½â€™s deputy political editor, tells Nick Robinson what the Labour Party will do now.
