Two tourists to go to the moon in 2018
Self-funded space tourist Richard Garriott said two space tourists could pay hundreds of millions of dollars a seat to fly round the moon
Garriott flew to the International Space Station in 2008 with Space Adventures, the space tourism company he co-founded:
“For me it was a few tens of millions. For going around the moon it will be probably be a hundred million or so per seat, that would be my guess.â€
American aerospace company Space X has announced that two private citizens have paid to be sent around the Moon. The flight is planned for 2018.
