'We can't leave these poor people to die of hunger'
The mayor of Calais has banned food handouts to migrants by local charities in an effort to prevent the establishment of a new refugee camp, three months after the “Jungle” shanty-town was demolished. But as hundreds of people return to the port, former camp resident turned charity worker Tariq Shinwari explains why many are willing to break the directive.
