After his 11th round victory over David Haye, Tony Bellew said he has beaten one of the best boxers the UK has ever produced.

WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew produced a stunning upset to stop bitter rival David Haye in a thrilling heavyweight contest at London's O2 Arena.

Speaking at ringside after the fight, Bellew told 5 live鈥檚 Mike Costello : 鈥淚鈥檓 honoured because in my eyes I鈥檝e beaten the best cruiserweight this country has ever produced.鈥�

Both fighters put aside their pre-fight trash talking to embrace after the fight and Haye paid tribute to Bellew:

鈥淚 dished out my best effort and it wasn鈥檛 good enough and he beat me fair and square. Credit to him he had more than I had tonight.鈥�
