Tony Bellew - I broke my hand in Haye fight
Tony Bellew has revealed live on Sportsweek that he broke his right hand in the early rounds of his grudge fight with David Haye. Bellew said his hand was now 'the size of a small bowling ball' but he didn’t feel the pain as 'all he was thinking about was winning.' He admitted to feeling 'a bit sore' as he compared taking Haye's punches with being 'hit by a JCB truck.' Bellew won in the eleventh round after Haye's corner threw in the towel - the former world heavyweight champion was badly hampered after damaging his Achilles tendon midway through the fight. Haye and Bellew embraced after the clash, which had been marred by bad feeling between the two boxers
