Arsenal suffered a 3-1 defeat away to Liverpool with top goalscorer Alexis Sanchez dropped to the bench before the game.
Speaking about Sanchez Ryan said, 'It crossed my mind that Arsene dropped him to show the board and those people negotiating his contract how bad we can be without him.'
