'Wenger not in control of Sanchez situation'
Mirror journalist Darren Lewis says he "does not believe for one second" that Arsene Wenger is in control of the situation regarding Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean started Saturday's defeat at Liverpool on the bench after a blazing row with team-mates during a training session ahead of the game.
Sanchez, the Gunners' top-scorer, has only 15 months remaining on his current deal and speculation suggests he is ready to leave the Emirates.
Lewis says Sanchez has voiced his concerns over the club's underachievement and is frustrated over a perceived lack of response.
"The problem with Alexis Sanchez is that he's not surrounded by players who share his determination to win", Lewis added.
