Does the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ over-dramatise the weather?
A former ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ weatherman has criticised modern weather forecasters for naming too many storms and providing "more of an advisory service".
Bill Giles, who retired in 2000, told Eddie Mair that this would "devalue the currency" so people would ignore warnings about really dangerous storms.
