Could the Twickenham crowd turn on England?
Ugo Monye and Rory Lawson discuss how Scotland's performance could cause the Twickenham crowd to turn on England.
Ugo Monye and Rory Lawson believe Scotland's performance could cause the Twickenham crowd to turn on England.
The former players were looking ahead to England's game against Scotland in the Six Nations.
Monye said: "I think also the crowd play a massive part in it, I was there commentating for the England v Italy game and the crowd has almost become spoiled by how well England have played and the results they've had and they turned on the players, they were booing and jeering.
"(If) Scotland come down here with their fanfare and the bagpipes and the confidence which is exuding and everyone's aware of their threat and it's a close game, you might just have the Twickenham stadium and the fans turning on their players a little bit."
England are on a 17-match winning run and haven't lost to Scotland at Twickenham since 1983.
Scotland have beaten Ireland and Wales so far in the tournament, sitting third in the Six Nations table.
Lawson said: "There will be a lot of Scots in Twickenham as well and they'll be looking to have a lot to shout about.
"There is more excitement about this Scottish squad and more to be excited about with some talent within than there has been for a long, long time."
If Scotland beat England they will claim their first Triple Crown since 1990.
