Edwards denies Wales coaching team has become stale
Wales defence coach Shaun Edwards hits back at claims their coaching team has gone stale, and dismisses suggestions Warren Gatland is still pulling the strings.
Edwards said: 鈥淲e had the best defence the last World Cup. So is that stale?.......You think having the best defence at the last two World Cups, you think that鈥檚 stale do you?鈥
Wales have lost two of their first three matches in this year鈥檚 Six Nations 鈥 to England and Scotland.
鈥淩ob鈥檚 in charge now, I鈥檓 pretty sure Rob speaks to Warren鈥.I don鈥檛 know if he discusses selection etc but Rob鈥檚 in charge, decides what training we do, where we train, what time we train.
鈥淚t鈥檚 not a lot different to what we do under Warren Gatland,鈥 he added.
Wales have dropped to seventh in the World Rugby global rankings following their disappointing start to this year鈥檚 Championship.
