Alex Danson: 10,000 new hockey players
Great Britain hockey player Alex Danson has described how the 2016 Olympics has inspired others to take up the sport.
Danson was speaking as part of a special 5 live Sport programme celebrating women's sport for International Women's Day, and explained the impact of GB’s women winning a first Olympic hockey gold in Rio.
Since last summer’s success at the Rio Games, Danson said: "We've had 10,000 new members sign up to our clubs.”
