We've all heard of Cash in the Attic, but is that really the best place to store your valuables? Probably not, according to Consumer Editor at Good Housekeeping Sara Benwell, who told 5 live鈥檚 Anna Foster how you may need to rethink if you use your attic to store furniture or wedding dresses.

鈥淏ecause of the variations in heat what quite often happens is the wood expands and cracks, so your furniture ends up getting ruined.鈥�

鈥淎ttics are havens for moths so if you put wedding dresses up there they can get at them, and also heat is not great for wedding dresses.鈥�
