Why Crufts has banned Shih Tzus from wearing bows

A senior judge at dog show Crufts says a Shih Tzus鈥� top knot should be secured with a plain rubber band, meaning bows are no longer allowed.

Caroline Kisko, secretary of the Kennel Club which runs the dog show, told 5 live the reason for the ban is that 鈥渘obody in the Kennel Club wants to see these dogs going around with big, pink frilly bows in their hair.鈥�

鈥淭hey are meant to be shown as naturally as possible.鈥�
