Professor Brian Cox: Why Stargazing Live is going to Oz
Professor Brian Cox has said the new series of Stargazing Live will have guaranteed "live astronomy" because it's coming from Australia.
The series, which starts later this month, is being broadcast live from the Outback instead of Jodrell Bank in Manchester.
Cox, who presents the series with Dara O'Briain, said "part of the charm" of Stargazing Live is that they are "trying to do a little astronomy show" from Manchester "where it's often cloudy and rainy".
"So we thought just for a year why don't we go somewhere where we can guarantee clear skies".
