Exercise levels decline 'long before adolescence'

In the world of medicine and child development, there is a widely held and influential view that physical activity begins to decline at adolescence. Not so, according to a new report in the British Journal of Sports Medicine. It suggests that exercise levels decline long before children get into their teenage years. John J Reilly is professor of physical activity and public health Science at the University of Strathclyde in the UK. He told Dan Damon about the study.
