Neville: Everton can't afford to lose Lukaku
Former Everton captain Phil Neville says his former club can't afford to lose striker Romelu Lukaku in the summer.
The Toffees' top scorer has turned down the most lucrative contract offer in the club's history, believed to be in the region of £140,000 a week.
Speaking to 5 live football correspondent John Murray, Neville stressed that it was imperative that his former club retained the Belgian.
"If Ronald Koeman's building a side that's willing to challenge for a Champions League place he has to keep hold of Romelu Lukaku," he said. "To replace him Everton will have to spend £40-50 million".
