Sex toy maker Standard Innovation has agreed to pay customers up to 10,000 Canadian Dollars each, after their WeVibe bluetooth vibrator remotely tracked owners' use without their knowledge.

Marketed as a way to 'allow couples to keep their flame ignited - together or apart', the toy and app can allow a long-distance partner to control the device.

But it came with a number of security and privacy issues.
