Martin McGuinness and Gerry Adams played 'good cop, bad cop'

Sinn Féin's Martin McGuinness, Northern Ireland's former deputy first minister, has died aged 66. The former IRA leader worked at the heart of the power-sharing government following the 1998 Good Friday Agreement. Jonathan Powell was Tony Blair's chief negotiator in that deal, he told Dan Damon that McGuinness remained likeable, despite his violent history.
