Ricky Gervais: 'I didn't milk David Brent'

Ricky Gervais said despite releasing a David Brent film late last year, he didn't "milk" his most famous character, and claims he had "no plan" throughout his career.

He said there's only "nine hours" of David Brent put to film, and intentionally tried to make his character in Extras, Andy Millman, a completely different person. Gervais added:

"I woke up in the morning and did what I fancied at the time"
