London Irish: Lewington on his dream comeback
The Exiles' Alex Lewington is all smiles after his hand in the St Patrick's weekend win.
It marked his return to the side after a long injury lay off, and he agreed that there weren't many better weekends to make his return.
"It's always a good occasion for St Patrick's Day, and the atmosphere was awesome just like it normally is. It felt like a lot more than 11,000, it felt like a top end Premiership game.
"I was really happy to get off the mark [with a try], the pressure is off, the boys can stop giving me some stick now!"
Lewington also said that the early attacking display was something which took him a little by surprise.
"It was almost perfect rugby, some of the quickest tally of points I have been part of as a team.
"I couldn't really believe it, every time we seemed to launch an attack at them it seemed to work."
