Felixstowe Pier is on schedule to reopen around the time the schools break up for the summer holidays.

The old pier front was knocked down last year and is being rebuilt.

Plans include shops, a restaurant and a bowling alley.

There will also be a boardwalk for promenading around the building over the beach and the sea.
