Hit television shows often make money for the filming location through tourism. And in Northern Ireland where Game of Thrones is filmed that’s no exception. The show is so popular and long-running that its helped boost the film industry in Northern Ireland. Investors are backing a brand new studio being built in Belfast. And, aside from the tourist guides, people with regular jobs are getting some of the benefits too, like farmer Kenny Gracey.
