Schwarzer: Chelsea thought Palace was going to be easier than expected
Mark Schwarzer thinks Chelsea may have underestimated Crystal Palace in their 2-1 home defeat at Stamford Bridge.
Schwarzer said: "They took an early lead and I think they thought it was going to be an easier afternoon than they thought - they sat back a little bit and Crystal Palace really punished them."
Chelsea took the lead through Cesc Fabregas but goals from Zaha and Benteke gave Palace the win.
"You always felt before the game that Benteke, Townsend, Zaha could pose a threat to Chelsea if they were not careful and very much those guys ran the show early on in the first half and got them in the lead," Mark added.
