How we’re changing what we snack on
It seems the healthy eating messages might finally be getting through. Sales of crisps were down by 3% last year, that means we spent £27 million less on crisps last year than the year before. And sales of other healthier snacks including popcorn, nuts and even seaweed have grown over the same period. Amy North from the Grocer Magazine has been crunching the figures on our snacking habits and explains what's going on to Winifred Robinson.
