The place which used to have the highest pub to people ratio
Since the end of the financial crisis, Ireland’s economy has been among the best performing in Europe. Yet most of that growth has been focused in and around Dublin, leaving much of the rest of the country trailing in its wake. Kieran Cooke has seen this in the West of Ireland, when he visits the town which used to have the highest pub to people ration in the country.
