Ken Livingstone has been suspended from holding office in the Labour Party in a row over over anti-semitism in the party.
Last year he claimed that Adolf Hitler supported a Jewish homeland in Palestine in the 1930s.
The former Mayor of London, says the action taken against him is "really quite ridiculous" as he claims he was, "stating a simple historical fact".
A Labour Party disciplinary panel upheld three charges of breaching party rules and he was given a 2 year suspension. Since that started in April 2016, he will be out until April 2018.
Mr Livingstone says, "if I could go back and not say that, because it just allowed all the MPs who were trying to get rid of Jeremy (Corbyn) just to cause, you know, all this more trouble."
