Former Lions captain Brian O'Driscoll says fellow Irishman John Hayes was the worst room-mate he ever had as a player.

O'Driscoll revealed that whilst he was captain of Ireland he had a room to himself and didn't have to share.

The former Ireland centre said: "I never liked a front-rower, they're a different breed.

鈥淚've slagged him before so I probably won't get abused by him for a second time so maybe John Hayes."
