One rider and 21 horses died in more than 400 incidents reported to the British Horse Society reported over the past year – that’s a rise of nearly 30%. Last spring the society launched their Dead Slow campaign to educate drivers on how to pass horses safely. Sybil Ruscoe goes riding in the Cotswolds to find out.
