From the Bronx to Bradford
A more traditional, simple life can sound like an attractive yet impossible goal, but a group of men are proving it may well be within one's reach, right in the heart of British inner-city life. The Community of Franciscan Friars originated in New York and follows the example set by Saint Francis from the 13th century. Ahead of Easter, the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ has been filming a group of the friars based in Bradford (in the north of England) as they strive to live a modest life and support the local community. Father Gabriel talked to Dan Damon about his and his brothers' work.
