Sturgeon: 'Time for Scotland to be heard'
Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has been reacting to Prime Minister Theresa May's intention to hold a general election on 8 June.
Ms Sturgeon, who is also the leader of the Scottish National Party, said the election call was based on Mrs May's" narrow interest of her party" and the fact that she wanted to crush all opposition.
She added that "now was the time for Scotland to be heard".
