What can you do when an airline overbooks?
Could maths - and some cheerful bribery - prevent airlines from overbooking your seat? Airlines sometimes find that they don't have enough seats left to accommodate everyone they want to get onto a plane. Tim Harford looks into how airlines overbook and whether you can do anything about it.
