Where can you get the cheapest groceries?

Since the EU Referendum the papers have been full of predictions of soaring grocery bills as the pound drives up the cost of imported food. The UK’s inflation rate was 2.3% in March, that’s the highest since 2013. Now figures, compiled for You & Yours, suggest that you are paying more for an average basket of shopping in seven of the major supermarkets than you were six months ago. Jess Quayle talks to Winifred Robinson about which prices have gone up and how you can find the best deals.

First broadcast on You & Yours, 20 April 2017.
