    The Soviet blocks waiting for the wrecking ball
Cramped, drab and smelly - Russia's Soviet-era apartment blocks or Krushchyovkas are no longer dream homes for the masses. In Moscow, hundreds have been demolished, and now thousands more are scheduled for destruction. Oleg Boldyrev of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Russian shares memories of 'his' Krushchyovka.
