'Girl Power' before its time: Bananarama are back
With Bananarama announcing they are to reunite, Pete Waterman recalls his first meetings with the "band with the rebel about them".
He told Carolyn Quinn on Radio 4's PM programme that Madonna told him she had copied Bananarama's style in the early 1980s and how they represented "girl power before anyone even knew what that was".
