Peter Fury: Klitschko fight 'too soon' for Joshua
Tyson Fury's uncle and trainer, Peter Fury says Anthony Joshua lacks the skill and experience on a world level to beat former heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.
In an interview for 5 live Breakfast, Fury told Chris Warburton: “I think it’s too soon for Joshua. I think his boxing skills [leave a lot] to be desired.â€
Peter Fury masterminded his nephew Tyson's win over Klitschko in November 2015 - the Ukranian's first defeat in eleven years.
Fury added: “It’s all about styles, but ultimately if you’ve got a leaky defence in the heavyweight division I don’t care if you’ve got dynamite in both hands you’re coming unstuck sooner or later.â€
Anthony Joshua will defend his IBF heavyweight title against his Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley Stadium this Saturday.
