Concerns raised over students' unions' anti-Israel stance
Concerns over some students' unions' support for a boycott of Israel are being looked into by the Charity Commission, the Victoria Derbyshire programme has learned.
Seventeen student bodies in the UK have endorsed the BDS movement - which calls for an international boycott of Israel over the way it treats Palestinians.
The Commission said it would assess the concerns and take action if necessary.
One student in London, Devora Khafi - a member of the pro-Israel charity StandWithUs - believes the BDS is adding to a climate of hostility against Israel on campus.
Jon Ironmonger investigates.
