Deontay Wilder: I want to fight AJ
WBC heavy weight champion Deontay Wilder has revealed on Sportsweek he would like to fight Anthony Joshua in the future, but wants to challenge Joseph Parker first in order to claim the WBO title. Then he is ready for a big unification fight against Joshua, who now holds the IBF and WBA title after his epic win against Wladimir Klitschko. Wilder declared it could be a match where everything is at stake, which would determine who is “the best man on the planet”. Fight promoter Eddie Hearn admitted the contest could happen, although he also suggested other possible fights between Joshua and Parker and Joshua and Tyson Fury. “These are the fights we have to put together,” said Hearn in order to create a legacy for Joshua.
