Presenter and writer Charley Boorman has said he and Ewan McGregor always planned to do another series of their travel documentaries.

Boorman and McGregor toured Europe, Asia, U.S and Australia on motorbikes for The Long Way Round and Long Way Down. Boorman said the pair hoped to do another series, adding they talked about doing one when they were much 'older' and 'really grumpy'.

The adventurer, who almost lost his leg in a collision with a car last year has written a book on his experiences, The Long Way Back. He told 5 live's Nihal Arthanayake and Sarah Brett he didn't want to miss out because 'there's so much to do out there'.
